Standards we follow

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We are also subject to the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (O. Reg. 191/11).

What we’ve done

• Semantic HTML — proper headings, landmarks, labels, and roles so assistive technology can navigate the platform.
• Keyboard support — every interactive element is reachable and operable with the keyboard alone; focus indicators are visible.
• Color contrast — text and interactive elements meet WCAG AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).
• Form labels and errors — every form input has an associated label, and validation errors are announced to screen readers.
• Touch targets — buttons and form controls are at least 44×44 pixels on touch devices.
• Mobile responsiveness — layout adapts from 375px (iPhone SE) through desktop without horizontal scroll.
• Skip-to-content link — keyboard users can bypass the navigation.
• Reduced motion — respects the prefers-reduced-motion media query for users sensitive to animation.

Known limitations

• PDF lease documents we generate should be accessible but have not yet been independently audited.
• Some user-uploaded images (maintenance photos) may not have alt text; we prompt for alt text at upload but don't currently enforce it.
• Older browser versions (Internet Explorer 11 and earlier) are not supported.

Feedback

If you encounter a barrier on the platform — for example, a screen that doesn’t work with your screen reader, a button you can’t reach with the keyboard, or text that’s hard to read — please let us know. We will respond within 2 business days and work to address the issue promptly.
